Solidarity Day- Peace across Pakistan

As we move closer to the beginning of the New Year preparations for observing the Solidarity Day are gaining momentum. The response from across the country is overwhelming and far beyond expectations.From an initial plan of six locations, today the list of locations in which Solidarity Day will be observed includes more than 30 locations.

We hope that through our joint efforts, citizens will come together at the dawn of a new decade to express their support for the values of peace, equity and justice.

On this day, while remembering and empathising with those that have and continue to suffer violence and oppression, we will also express our resolve to stand up and be counted; to pursue the goals of democratic governance and the rule of law.
